A research library behind every job

More than 600,000 aviation reference documents, indexed both by keyword (lexical) and by meaning (vectorized) so that the correct Airworthiness Directive, service bulletin, accident report or hard-won owner experience are surfaced, digested and organized specifically for the aircraft in front of us.

The result: comprehensive maintenance briefings for the classic pre-buy or annual inspection, and for any other maintenance or build question.

  • FAA Airworthiness Directives
  • Supplemental Type Certificates
  • Type Certificate Data Sheets
  • Advisory Circulars and SAIBs
  • NTSB accident narratives
  • Manufacturers' service literature
  • 50+ yrs of Aviation magazines
  • Owner and builder forums

Inspection: 100-hour / Annual / Pre-buy

  1. Research. An agentic research pass on our extensive corpus produces a pre-inspection briefing and checklist for the aircraft, including recommendations for possible enhancements.
  2. Inspection. Using the step-by-step methodology of the checklist, every item is inspected, refurbished or replaced as necessary. Relevant items are photographed, notes are taken, and problem areas are identified.
  3. Pretty Perfect Report: Binder + PDF (20-50 pages) with:
    • photos of every item inspected;
    • why each item matters: baseline, ADs, STCs, type-specific history and lore;
    • the problems found;
    • possible enhancements and upgrades;
    • an estimated parts budget for each phase: problems, then upgrades.
For
  • Owners.
  • Prospective buyers.
  • Mechanics who see the value in spending less time on desk research and in handing their client a thorough bound report on the work actually done.

Major maintenance job planning

  1. Desk research produces:
    • a scope-of-work briefing, with why each item matters (baseline, ADs, STCs, type-specific history and lore);
    • a fool-proof parts list;
    • a workflow with checklists;
    • possible recommendations for enhancements.
  2. On the job. The work is done by certificated mechanics (A&P, and IA where required).
  3. Pretty Perfect Report: Binder + PDF with detailed explanation of the scope of work, regulatory framework and photos of all work performed.
For
  • Owners.
  • Mechanics who see the value in spending less time on desk research, in reducing the risk of an incomplete parts order, and in handing their client a thorough bound report on the work actually done.
